We are a loosely organized nude group of guys whose interest is in camping at Saline Valley Warm Springs, Death Valley. We plan two scheduled outings a year… one in early September and another in late May, depending on the temperatures which we prefer to be in the 90s. All are welcome to join us for these unstructured camp-outs.Situated at the northern end of Death Valley National Park, Saline Valley has long been a nudists’ paradise with its warm nights, zero humidity, lush lawns and palms, and minimal enhancements. It’s a long but easy ride over dirt/gravel roads: allow at least three hours to arrive at the springs once you leave the paved road, coming from either the north or south route.
Saline Valley is a deep and arid valley in the Mojave Desert of California. Most of it became a part of Death Valley National Park when the park was expanded under the Desert Protection Act of 1994. The area had previously been administered by the Bureau of Land Management, where nudity had always been permitted. Saline Valley’s lowest elevations are about 1,000 feet, lying in the rain shadow of the 11,000–foot Inyo Mountains to the west. There are a number of hot springs in the Saline Valley area with water temperature averaging 107°F.
Our next camp-out will be in September, 2011. The exact dates will be announced soon.
